    Our Commitments

McCormick Taylor prioritizes quality in everything we do, with the goal of consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations. Whether it is a PS&E package submission, an environmental document, or a construction estimate, we are committed to delivering exceptional products that are technically appropriate and accurate and are enhanced through continuous improvement. Our Quality Assurance/Quality Control Policy provides a holistic and proactive approach that is implemented at the start of an assignment, continued as milestones are reached, and concluded with the delivery of a complete project. These commitments have fueled strong client relationships, repeat business, and growth into new regions and markets.

McCormick Taylor values safety and embraces our responsibility to safeguard our employees, our clients/partners, and the communities we serve. With the help of our certified safety professionals, we are diligent about the environment in which we work – providing accessible, secure office spaces, personal protective equipment for field work, and utilizing our custom-designed safety app for staff to report safe arrivals at job sites. Our design plans, technical studies, and engineering solutions are thoughtfully and carefully produced to deliver solutions that tackle infrastructure challenges affecting the safety of our communities like flooding, environmental compliance, aging infrastructure, multi-modal access, and more. Our efforts have included taking a safe systems design approach to help our clients implement Vision Zero projects and strategies, design Safe Routes to School, and conduct community Safety Audits. In addition, we uphold the highest standards of work zone safety by providing internal offerings and completing client-based trainings that emphasize hazard awareness and adherence to all relevant regulations across every project site. Above all, we are committed to staying informed, prepared, smart, and safe in everything we do.

McCormick Taylor recognizes the growing impacts that stem from extreme weather events and the need for more resilient infrastructure. We are helping our clients and communities strengthen their resilience by considering proactive and forward-thinking solutions that anticipate future risks while supporting long-term connectivity and environmental balance.  Through comprehensive risk assessments, we identify vulnerabilities in critical assets and develop adaptive strategies with built in redundancy. We understand that resiliency often involves tough choices, from how to allocate funding, to what infrastructure to protect, and how to safely manage water. By working collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and communities, we are able to deliver flexible and adaptable resiliency plans and projects, that can withstand extreme events and provide peace of mind for future generations.

McCormick Taylor has a proven track record of leading and incorporating innovative solutions across multiple disciplines and service areas. Our data-driven technology solutions have empowered clients to manage assets with real-time applications systems resulting in informed critical decision making. With our expertise using OpenRoads and OpenBridge Designer 3D modeling software, MT is completing the first Model as a Legal Document (MALD) pilot project in PennDOT District 6, which is anticipated to be the largest PennDOT Digital Delivery project to date with a total estimated construction cost of $50 million. We’ve designed and supported the construction of alternative intersections designs such as Single-Point Urban Interchanges (SPUI), Diverging Diamonds, Roundabouts, and more to improve operations, reduce conflict points, and enhance pedestrian and cyclist accessibility. Additionally, our work with our energy clients has included environmental support for renewable projects including offshore wind and solar array projects. These examples reflect our never-ending commitment to advancement, exceeding expectations, and striving for excellence.

McCormick Taylor is committed to supporting non-profit organizations year-round through the efforts of our Charity Committee and other company and employee-driven initiatives. Guided by the passion of our employees, we have partnered with and supported more than 300 nonprofits, all of which were nominated by our employees who have served as volunteers/participants. These organizations help shape our communities through their work, assistance, programs, and care for many in need.  We are inspired by our employees’ passion for giving back and by the collective impact we make in supporting organizations that matter deeply to them. Along the way, we gain a better understanding of what’s important to each other, making us better as individuals and as a company.
