An update to our valued clients and partners:
We recognize that in this time of uncertainty, effective, frequent, and clear communication is paramount to the future success of our partnership. The safety of McCormick Taylor’s people and the communities we serve remains our top priority. Therefore, we have decided to extend our physical office closure until May 4.
Fortunately, our employees are able to work very efficiently even when it is remotely. We have made significant investments in our IT infrastructure over the last several years, which include all of our staff being equipped with company issued laptops or remote desktops, as well as the implementation of a cloud-based communications platform that enables our staff to engage in video conferencing, messaging, and content sharing across all offices at any time. Staff have access to all network drives and can effectively workshare from any location and on any project. The technologies we have implemented allow our employees to work and collaborate with one another as effectively virtually as they do in person. Despite the incredibly challenging circumstances we are all operating under, we are here to keep your projects moving forward. We are able to productively telework now and in the long term for as long as it may be necessary.
The feedback from our staff has been that the elimination in commuting time and improved flexibility in their schedules has increased their productivity. Our staff are capable of handling overtime and additional work while they work from home.
We remain dedicated to meeting your needs and working on your projects. We are here to help and support you in any way that we can. We recognize that during this unprecedented time your needs may have changed, so please feel free to reach out to us and let us know if there are other ways for us to be of service. We will continue to inform you of any changes to our business practices. Thank you for doing business with us.
Sincerely,
The McCormick Taylor Team
ORIGINAL MESSAGE POSTED ON MARCH 16
To our valued clients and partners:
During this unprecedented time, we wanted to assure you that McCormick Taylor has taken the necessary steps to ensure that we are fully operational and that our staff will be able to continue to work on your projects. We are closely monitoring the evolving situation around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Like many of you, we recognize how significantly it is impacting our lives, both personally and professionally. Over the course of the last several weeks, we have developed procedures and processes to enable our business to continue in this new environment. Our top priority is to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff, clients, and communities, while maintaining the same high level of service to which our clients are accustomed.
We are following all guidelines outlined by the CDC and other public health departments. To do our part in helping to protect our communities, we have temporarily closed our physical offices through March 31. We have restricted all non-essential visits and meetings at McCormick Taylor locations until further notice to protect our associates, vendors, and customers. We are canceling or postponing all non-essential travel, meetings, and events. Our staff has been instructed to conduct all business-related meetings by teleconference or phone where possible. When in-person meetings or site visits are required, we have encouraged our staff to follow good hygiene practices, including hand washing and social distancing.
We have created an infrastructure in which our employees are fully equipped to meet client needs in a virtual environment and we have technology that facilitates remote access at any time. We are more confident than ever that we can conduct business without interruption.
Although we are well poised to work in this ever-changing environment, certain things may be beyond our control. Guidelines around COVID-19 are changing rapidly and we will continue to follow precautionary measures advised by local, state, or federal agencies. Future changes or limitations could potentially impact project deliverables and we ask for your patience and understanding.
The McCormick Taylor team will be available throughout this public health emergency to provide the same quality of service you have come to expect from our dedicated staff and partners. Our goal is to stay safe, while still continuing work to meet your needs.
We very much value our relationship and thank you for doing business with McCormick Taylor. We will continue to monitor this situation and will keep you informed of any changes to our operations or business practices. Most importantly, we hope you and your families stay safe and healthy during this uncertain time.
Sincerely,
