On September 25, Jim Dorsey, Alyssa Sooklal, Amanda Varden, and Lauren Havener of our Baltimore office attended ASCE-MD's 26th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser. The Indoor Putt-Putt & Cornhole Tournament was supposed to take place on Pi Day (3/14) of 2020. Our team kept with the pie theme and added "frozen" elements to the golf course decoration as a nod to the COVID-19 cancellation.
"This is one of my favorite social events of the year," said Alyssa Sooklal. "It’s a great opportunity to network with other engineers, contribute to a great cause, and sharpen putt-putt golfing skills!"
McCormick Taylor was a Silver-level Scholarship Sponsor, contributing to the ASCE-MD endowments to The Johns Hopkins University, Morgan State University, and the University of Maryland, the three universities in Maryland that offer civil engineering programs.
