Michele Aitkenhead, AICP, GISP | Director, Systems and Operations

Michele has over 20 years of progressive technical and management experience providing GIS and planning services associated with TMDL and the National Environmental Policy Act to our transportation clients. As a certified planner and GIS professional, Michele brings a passion for program and project management excellence exemplified by her continuing contributions of quality work for key clients such as the Maryland State Highway Administration. In her new role, Michele will expand her involvement and leadership in strategic planning, data management and metrics, and training while promoting systems thinking and advancing McCormick Taylor’s overall growth and staff development.

Anthony DiMaggio, PE, PTOE | Director, Transportation Engineering
Anthony has 28 years of experience in planning, design, and management of transportation improvements projects. He currently leads office operations in our Mount Laurel, NJ office. Anthony has excelled at maintaining strong client relationships while simultaneously developing internal technical staff for future growth opportunities. In his new role, Anthony will be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the New Jersey office as well as participating in various company-wide initiatives.

Rob Marchetti, PE | Director, Transportation Engineering
Rob has nearly 24 years in the management and design of transportation projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including more than 5 years at MDOT SHA Highway Design Division. As a Director on ACEC-Maryland's Executive Committee, he promotes good business practices and engages member firms to strengthen business environments through government advocacy, political action, and business education. In his expanded role, Rob will oversee the firm’s Maryland Transportation Group and Construction Inspection company-wide.

John has 27 years of experience and is very well respected by both clients and teaming partners across all disciplines in western Pennsylvania. He leads office operations in the Pittsburgh, PA office and has delivered several large and small-scale transportation projects in the region. In his new role, John will continue to grow and expand our presence in western Pennsylvania as we look to broaden our current market penetration and expand into other disciplines and sectors.

Melody Matter, PE, PTOE | Deputy Director, Transportation Engineering
Melody has 20 years of experience and oversees traffic engineering services for McCormick Taylor in western and central Pennsylvania and Florida. In a few short years and with her keen attention to detail, Melody has been successful in Florida with additional wins for Lee County and has been asked to do project management work for FDOT District 1's Southwest Area Office. In her new role, Melody will continue as Florida Regional Manager, coordinating business development activities, managing the technical work for transportation services, and coordinating traffic engineering marketing efforts, as well as quality assurance for traffic engineering services in western and central Pennsylvania.

Joe Thompson, PE | Deputy Director, Structural Engineering

Joe has 32 years of experience and has communicated complex structural needs and design issues to other disciplines within and outside of McCormick Taylor. Craig has 26 years of experience and is a recognized expert and thought leader in Watershed Services and NPDES/TMDL Management across the Mid-Atlantic Region. His technical, business development, and management skills have resulted in multiple new contracts and clients in Maryland and Northern Virginia in the last three years. In his new role, Craig will continue to be responsible for technical, marketing, and management oversight for Watershed Services in Maryland and Northern Virginia, as well as expanding our MS4 services company-wide.

Bryan has 26 years of experience and oversees traffic engineering services for McCormick Taylor in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He has expertise in transportation planning, traffic operations, and traffic control device design for various intersection, corridor, interstate, and other public use facility projects. He is also responsible for the management of multiple engineering open-end contracts for a wide variety of clients. In his new role, Bryan will continue to lead the strategic growth, quality assurance, and business development for traffic engineering services in our southern markets.

Jason Hetrick, PE, CFM | Assistant Director, Water Resources
Jason has 19 years of experience and oversees water resources engineering for McCormick Taylor’s southern markets in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida. Jason has played a critical role in establishing contract work with over a dozen unique clients in South Carolina for environmental and water resources projects, and more recently, transportation engineering design. In his new role, Jason will continue to lead the operation of the Columbia, SC office and the strategic growth of McCormick Taylor’s Water Resources practice throughout the Southeast, while playing a key role in the expansion of transportation and structural engineering work in that market.
