Over the years, we’ve realized that our people's passion for the charities and organizations they care about helps shape their personalities and drive them to succeed, and we wanted to be a part of that. In 2017, we created a Charity Committee that is responsible for reviewing requests for charitable donations and allocating funds on behalf of the company.
By becoming involved with our employees’ different organizations, programs, and charities, we grow closer to our employees and the places we call home.
Perry County Animal Rescue (PCoAR) benefits the lost and unwanted pets in the local community in Juniata and Perry Counties, Pennsylvania. The core mission of PCoAR is to shelter lost and unwanted animals from the area until a new home is found. The organization also promotes responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter education, vaccinations, and general pet care. With the help of volunteers, PCoAR has successfully found homes for many animals and has reunited numerous lost pets with their families.
Alana Wolfe, an Environmental Planner I in our Harrisburg, PA office, has become involved with the organization over the last six months. She mainly purchases and collects items for donation and distributes them to the rescue. McCormick Taylor’s donation will help the rescue offset the cost of food and supplies for the animals, office supplies, etc. to keep the shelter going.
