McCormick Taylor is pleased to announce Andrew Getch, PE has joined our growing Fort Myers, Florida office.
In his position as Senior Transportation Engineer, Andy will play an integral role in helping McCormick Taylor expand our relationships and marketing efforts in the Fort Myers region and southwest Florida.
Andy is a registered Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry. He worked with Lee County in Transportation Planning for 24 years, 10 of them serving as the Transportation Planning Manager. As such, he assisted in the development of the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Long Range Transportation Plan with input on automated, connected, electric, and shared vehicles, and bicycle and pedestrian initiatives and plans. Andy was the chairman of the MPO’s Technical Advisory Committee for two years and participated on the Bicycle Pedestrian Coordinating Committee, Community Sustainability Advisory Committee, Complete Streets Team, and Green Team. He is also a skilled project manager having led numerous transportation planning studies in the area.
