McCormick Taylor is pleased to announce Andrew Young, PE has joined our growing Raleigh, North Carolina office.
In his position as Assistant Director, Transportation Engineering, Andrew will play an integral role in helping McCormick Taylor expand relationships and marketing efforts in McCormick Taylor’s southern markets.
Andrew is a registered Professional Engineer in North and South Carolina with more than 20 years of experience and a graduate of Penn State University. He comes to McCormick Taylor after serving in a variety of positions in the public and private sector including 10 years at the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). While at NCDOT, Andrew worked in the Roadway Design and Program Management Units where he managed projects (including Design-Build projects), mentored squad members, developed and reviewed plans, and coordinated development of Requests for Proposals among other initiatives. Most recently, Andrew served as a consultant Transportation Practice Leader overseeing projects for both NCDOT and municipal clients.
