As Director of Structural Engineering, Joe provides companywide leadership for the Structural Engineering Group, offering strategic input on the company’s most innovative and complex projects and supporting structural-related marketing pursuits. His role emphasizes quality project delivery, the growth and advancement of the structural engineering discipline and staff, and close collaboration with fellow Directors to advance overall company initiatives and objectives.

Joe is a Professional Engineer licensed in eight states and brings more than 35 years of combined industry experience spanning the design of complex bridge structures, project management leadership, and business development. He is widely recognized for his exceptional ability to design, review, and deliver projects in full compliance with federal and state DOT standards. Joe thrives on the unique challenges each project presents, and the lasting impact of the solutions developed, a philosophy he brings to his leadership of McCormick Taylor’s Structural Engineering Group. His ability to inspire and align high-performing teams combined with his proven record of delivering a diverse portfolio of structural projects, continues to contribute to the growth and recognition of the firm’s structural expertise.
Joe is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology. In his free time, he enjoys gathering with family and indulging in his hobbies. His favorites include fly fishing, fly tying, woodworking, and golf.
