CHICUREL LANE

THE CHALLENGE

The purpose of the project was to provide improved roadway access to serve a proposed commercial development that was slated to consist of a hotel and restaurant off the end of existing Chicurel Lane. The project involved coordination not only with the City of Waynesboro but also the private developer and their engineer. 

HOW WE HELPED

Our services included roadway design, traffic engineering, hydraulic design, utility coordination and relocation design, and bid assistance for the extension and improvement of Chicurel Lane to accommodate the additional traffic expected for the commercial development. 

RESULTS

Improvements included curb and gutter with associated storm sewer, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, adjustment of an existing dentist office entrance, and the extension of approximately 520 linear feet of water main and 280 linear feet of sanitary sewer main in cooperation with the private development.
