PLANNING, PERMITTING, AND LICENSING
McCormick Taylor's planners and scientists identify the resources within the remote areas where our clients build and maintain infrastructure.
THE CHALLENGES OUR CLIENTS FACE
Many of our clients build and maintain infrastructure in remote areas that contain several valuable resources. Planning and permitting the maintenance and construction activities in these areas can be challenging due to numerous state and federal environmental regulations that need to be addressed. These projects are a priority for our clients and any issues encountered during the environmental planning and permitting processes can delay much-needed improvements and upgrades.
HOW WE HELP
Our group of qualified planners and scientists identify the resources within the area where the maintenance and construction will occur. This is done through desktop analysis and field surveys to ensure the resources are accurately identified. Based on the resources discovered and the anticipated scope of work, we provide clients with a list of the permitting and licensing needs to be addressed so the project can commence. From this point, we complete the applicable permit applications, provide the supporting documentation and design, coordinate with the state and federal resource agencies, and acquire the appropriate permit and/or license for the client.
RESULTS
Our experience and efficiency in environmental planning and permitting processes limits disruptions in a client's project delivery process. We allow the client to accurately plan for construction and maintenance activities, and avoid delays that may have a ripple effect to their entire capital program schedule.
