Congratulations to Amy Sokalski, PE, PTOE, PTP, of our Mount Laurel office, who was named President of ASHE Southern New Jersey (ASHE SNJ).
Amy is a Manager of Traffic Engineering with 21 years of experience. She previously served as PDH coordinator, Venues Coordinator, and Vice President for ASHE SNJ. In her new role as President, Amy will provide leadership to the 175-person section. One of the organization's main goals is to award scholarships to worthy students in southern New Jersey. To date, they have awarded over $210,000 in scholarships.
"I’m looking forward to the challenge of providing quality programs for our members in this uncertain time of COVID-19 through a variety of virtual and in-person events," Amy said.
ASHE SNJ and ASHE North Central NJ are excited to host a joint webinar event in September with representatives from the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority to present their upcoming Capital Programs. Additionally, the ASHE SNJ section will be celebrating their 35th Anniversary in the spring.
