We are pleased to announce that Christina Arlt, AICP has joined our Planning and Communications Group in Philadelphia.
In her role as Project Manager, Planning and Communication Services, Christina combines her 10 years of experience in community planning with her passion for education and public outreach. She is currently working on communications for NJDOT’s Local Aid Resource Center and SEPTA’s Norristown High Speed Line extension to King of Prussia.
Christina’s specialties include land use, multimodal, transit, and long-range planning, as well as public involvement, stakeholder engagement, and training course development and delivery. She has managed projects focused on multimodal transportation, land use, smart growth, water, community development, and economic development. She teaches a course for Master of City Planning students at the University of Pennsylvania, and is active in numerous professional organizations, including WTS Philadelphia and the American Planning Association Pennsylvania Chapter.
Prior to joining McCormick Taylor, Christina was the Manager of Community Revitalization at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), where she worked on a variety of projects, including the Greater Philadelphia’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy and PennDOT’s Local Technical Assistance Program.
