As Director, Transportation Engineering, Kris leads the Highway Group, manages project delivery, and advances business development strategies for the Eastern PA region. In his role, he focuses on the growth and development of transportation services and staff, the delivery of innovative and quality design solutions, and the advancement of the firm’s broader strategic initiatives.
Professional Highlights
After graduating from Villanova University, Kris joined McCormick Taylor in 1997 and continued on to become a Professional Engineer in four states and lead many multifaceted projects. He has served as a Project Manager and lead highway engineer for some of the region’s most high-profile projects for clients such as, the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware Departments of Transportation; the PA Turnpike, and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. Kris’ project management expertise includes roadway widening, interchange reconstruction, alternatives analyses, drainage plans, final right-of-way plans, utility coordination, PS&E package preparation, construction staging; and cost estimating. Kris is also a trained Value Engineering reviewer and has been recognized over the years by his peers in the industry for the development of value-driven, cost-effective solutions.
Kris continues to contribute to the industry participating in multiple professional organizations and often sharing his experiences through industry presentations. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and watching his three children compete in sports and perform at dance competitions.
