As Director of Water Resources, Nabil plays a key role in the continued growth and success of McCormick Taylor’s Mount Laurel, New Jersey office while leading the region’s Water Resources Group. He is a recognized expert in drainage-related projects and emergency incident response and is highly valued by clients for his practical problem-solving abilities, technical depth, and responsive leadership on complex and time-sensitive assignments.

Professional Highlights

Nabil has more than three decades of experience in water resources engineering, encompassing planning, design, and construction support for a wide range of infrastructure projects. He holds a Master of Science in Water Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the City College of the City University of New York and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Since joining McCormick Taylor in 1994, Nabil has served as lead water resources engineer for flood control, stormwater management, roadway, bridge, and dam projects, providing technical leadership from initial analysis through final design and construction. His technical expertise includes advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, drainage analysis, and the application of remote sensing and specialized engineering software.

Nabil is widely known for his 24/7 availability and rapid response throughout New Jersey, supporting a diverse client base that includes local counties and agencies, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. His professional excellence was recognized in 2023 when he received the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), New Jersey Section, Civil Engineer of the Year award. He remains actively engaged in advancing the profession through technical publications, participation in local and national professional organizations, and service on the Temple University Civil and Environmental Engineering Industry Advisory Committee.
