As Vice President and key member of McCormick Taylor’s Operations Team, Susie leads the firm’s Energy Services sector and Marketing discipline, shaping strategy and business development initiatives that drive the company’s long-term growth. A collaborative leader, she excels at cultivating trusted relationships across clients, partners, and internal teams while leveraging her broad environmental consulting experience to advance complex, multidisciplinary initiatives.
Professional Highlights
Susie has more than four decades of technical expertise in the field of Environmental Policy and Program and Project Development, including serving as Division Chief of the Maryland Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of Environmental Design/Programs and Arizona DOT’s NEPA Program Manager. Since joining the firm in 2008, Susie guided the launch of McCormick Taylor’s Energy practice in 2010. Since then, the practice has experienced consistent growth under Susie’s direction, fostering client relationships and establishing a trusted reputation for technical excellence and efficient delivery. She has a strong foundation in local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including wetland delineation, environmental compliance, NEPA documentation, permit delivery, inspections, and mitigation monitoring. Having managed the environmental process for thousands of projects, she has a proven understanding of how to streamline regulatory approvals through effective tools and techniques.
After many years of living throughout the US, Susie and her husband now reside on the Eastern shore of Maryland. When she is not working , Susie and her husband spend their free time with friends and family at the shore or traveling abroad.
