The Maryland Quality Initiative (MdQI) is a collaboration among Maryland’s transportation industry devoted to the continuous improvement of quality in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the state's transportation system.
Every year, the association holds a conference in Baltimore, MD, where professionals in the industry are encouraged to network, earn continuing education credits, and most importantly be recognized for recently completed transportation projects that best exemplify Maryland’s dedication to exceptional quality.
The conference features a theme each year, allowing attendees to decorate their booths and offer games, prizes, and more. This year's theme was "Sand, Sun, and Cruisin’ Fun.”
This year, McCormick Taylor was recognized for our team’s work on these projects:
Maryland 404 Widening Project
- MdQI Project of the Year - Over $5 Million
- MdQI MD SHA Modal Award - Over $5 Million
- MdQI Partnering Construction Bronze Award
Tufton Roundabout
- MdQI County Engineers Association of Maryland Modal Award - Under $5 Million
