Joe is responsible for the companywide management of our Structural Engineering Group, providing key project input and oversight on our most innovative and challenging projects, and leading structural related marketing pursuits. His role also focuses on quality project delivery, the development and advancement of our structural engineering discipline and staff, and collaboration with other Directors to help drive the overall company initiatives and goals. Joe’s 35-year career in transportation, including 22 years with McCormick Taylor has ranged from the design of many different bridge types and complexities, to project management and business development. His knowledge and ability to design, review, and deliver projects according to Federal and Department standards is exceptional and is highly valued by his colleagues. Joe thrives on the challenge that each project provides and the impact of the solutions that are developed.
Joe is a Professional Engineer in eight states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, and Florida; and is a member of the Harrisburg Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers and the Susquehanna Chapter of the Association for Bridge Construction and Design.
Joe enjoys spending his free time gathering with family and indulging in his hobbies. His favorites include fly fishing, fly tying, woodworking, and golf.
