    Penrose Roundabout

    As part of an on-call contract with the City of Philadelphia’s Traffic Operations and ITS Services, McCormick Taylor was tasked to complete the final design of a complex modern roundabout to replace a large, 6-point intersection located in South Philadelphia.

    This project widens the approximately two-mile roadway, improves traffic capacity and operations along the corridor and side roads, adds pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and improves safety.

    McCormick Taylor led the design and delivery of a safety and operational improvement program for a critical intersection on one of the region’s most congested corridors.

  4. Durham County Bridge No. 110

    McCormick Taylor is providing conceptual phase engineering services for the replacement of Bridge No. 110 over Little Creek on SR 1110 (Farrington Road) in Durham County.

  5. Wake County Bridge No. 114

    NCDOT

    McCormick Taylor is providing comprehensive consulting engineering services for the replacement of Bridge No. 114 over New Light Creek on SR 1911 in Wake County. The project includes the design of a new 100-foot, single-span bridge and associated roadway improvements.

  6. Colonial Boulevard Alternatives Analysis Study

    Lee County, FL

    This study worked to identify alternatives to meet the mobility needs of all users, including motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit riders along a 1.2-mile corridor that carries 50,000 vehicles per day.

  7. Three Oaks Parkway Extension

    Lee County, FL

    This project is the completion of the roadway from Alico Road to Daniels Parkway. As a subconsultant, McCormick Taylor oversaw the traffic analysis, intersection designs, roadway lighting, and the widening of Daniels Parkway.

  8. HT2 Connector Project

    McCormick Taylor led the design and coordination of 2.3 miles of roadway improvements through Franconia and Hatfield Townships.

  9. Reservoir Street Widening (County)

    McCormick Taylor developed preliminary and final design plans for this roadway improvement project to widen about 0.4 miles of Reservoir Street from two lanes to four lanes and with a raised median.

    This locally-administered, VDOT revenue sharing project included widening Reservoir Street, a heavily travelled two-lane Minor Arterial, from University Boulevard to the city limits.

    McCormick Taylor led the planning, design, and community engagement efforts for the Laurel Valley Transportation Improvement Project (LVTIP), enhancing safety, mobility, and public involvement through innovative outreach and stakeholder collaboration.

  12. Studley Road/Rural Point Road Roundabout

    Hanover County, VA

    This locally-administered project consisted of taking the intersection of Studley Road and Rural Point Road and reconfiguring it into a single-lane roundabout.

  13. Main Street/Milnwood Road Intersection

    Town of Farmville, VA

    This project included the widening of South Main Street (US Route 15) to accommodate additional turn lanes at the South Main Street intersection with Milnwood Road.

  14. Falling Branch Road Intersection Improvements

    This locally-administered, VDOT Revenue Sharing project consisted of providing preliminary and final design for improvements at the intersection of Falling Branch Road and Roanoke Street (US Route 11 Business).
